Wicked Game
Miami quarterback Jaime Dalton is living every man’s fantasy. If that fantasy included a pottery-flinging cook, an embezzling accountant, and now blackmail, then his life is perfect. It was Cass Pendleton, his new personal assistant, with her sexy panties and drop dead eyes that made his life a living hell.
Cass Pendleton and Jaime Dalton have been mortal enemies since the first day of kindergarten when Jaime pulled her hair and Cass knocked him flat on his ass.
Jaime is on the verge of superstardom in the NFL; all that’s missing is a Super Bowl ring and a personal assistant who can handle his business without handling his business.
Cass seems to be the best person for the job. She’s smart, mouthy, dependable, pig-headed, loyal, and completely not his type. So why can’t Jaime think of anything except Cass?
He knows one thing for dead certain. If the game doesn’t kill him, sex with Cass Pendleton most definitely will.

Cassandra Pendleton has to find a job and hopefully get back to teaching children. Jameson Dalton is a rising quarterback in the NFL who just needs a little help keeping his personal life on track so he doesn’t have to deal with the everyday details. Cass and Jamie have been at it since kindergarten when Jaime pulled Cass’ hair. There is no way that Cass would ever work for or with Jaime Dalton! She can’t stand to be in the same room with him and hasn’t since she knocked him on his ass back in kindergarten. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Cass agrees to leave Alabama to work for Jaime in Miami. Granted they argue and bicker and try to stay out of each other’s way, but they seem to be drawn to each other in more ways than one.
Every now and then a book comes out with the perfect formula; fantastic characters, a plot that is believable, well written, makes you laugh and cry, you can’t wait to read the next sentence and you hate to see the story end. Wicked Game is just that type of story. Cass and Jamie have such a history together and I loved that Ms. Celeste allowed the story to move at its own pace. Jaime is an awesome male character with the right amount of Alpha characteristics. Cass appears to be a mess, but she is just having a time finding herself and getting her life together. Each time Cass and Jaime are in the same vicinity you feel the sexual frustration come off them in waves. You know as soon as Cass and Jaime give in to their lust it will be the most explosive sex known to man. Whew! The sex is so effing hot, steamy, spicy, filled with the right amount of kink, that you might need a toy or two plus your significant other to help you cool down. There is domination, bondage, spanking and sometimes a blindfold thrown in just for fun, with some good old fashioned mating going on. The location for the sexual action is wherever Cass and Jaime can make it happen without getting arrested. The story has a bit of suspense that isn’t very obvious as we continue to be captivated by the love-hate relationship of Cass and Jamie. I enjoyed the secondary characters all coming into the story at perfect times, enhancing Cass and Jamie’s relationship. The story does have a psycho stalker that may offend some readers. Wicked Game most definitely has earned a Gold Star Award in my eyes. I really didn’t want to see either Cass or Jaime go. I’m actually going to miss their antics and this is one I’ll definitely reread.
